Hi! I’m Alex.

My love affair with photography was born out of the desire to experience new places and things, and the need to capture them in a way that would embody the magic of actually being there. Landscapes grabbed my attention at first, but I later found out I enjoy creative portraiture and editorial photography. Outside of work, I spend my days hiking, maintaining my travel blog Take a Hike, playing drums, bass, and guitar, and cooking delicious meals. In all I do, I aim to capture a feeling.
